The Vasco Era. Mantra. Your short films and a new street art mural art on show. A top BMX and skating comp. It’s all part of Concrete Audio - the biggest day out the Surf Coast has seen.
Concrete Audio winds up with an epic all-ages gig including much-loved rock act The Vasco Era and hip-hop star Mantra as well as DJ Malakai, Kung Fu In Technicolour, Sleep Decade, The Laughing Leaves and White Collar at Surf Coast Sport and Recreation Centre on Saturday 5 November; with doors opening at 4:45pm.
You can get involved by making a short film, showing your tricks at the Torquay Skate Park before the big gig from 12pm or enjoying the action.
As part of Concrete Audio, a new locally-produced street art mural will also be unveiled.
The short film competition gives Surf Coast residents aged 12-25 a chance to show off their multimedia skills to a big local audience.

Surf Coast Shire Mayor, Cr Dean Webster said Concrete Audio would be a great end to 2011 for local young people.
“Council’s Youth Development Team has worked hard with Coastal Productions to get this program organised and there is a lot to look forward to.
“I encourage local young people to get involved.”
