Earthway Healing, a kinesiology and natural healing practice, has moved from Perth to settle in Torquay on Victoria's beautiful Surf Coast.
While the decision to move after establishing Earthway in Perth in 2006 was not an easy one, Earthway founder and kinesiologist Ange Tydd believes it was the right one.
"It was a family decision really. As beautiful as Perth is, and as many wonderful clients I had there, my partner, daughter and I decided we wanted to be closer to our family who all are based here in Victoria," said Ange.
“We are just very lucky to be able to live and work in Torquay and look forward to becoming part of the Surf Coast community,” Ange adds.
Ange Tydd has been a devotee of kinesiology for almost 15 years and finally took the step of studying a 2 year Diploma of Kinesiology in 2004.
The human body has an incredible ability to heal itself. However, over time our various emotional and physical traumas create subconscious blockages and hinder the healing process. Using gentle muscle monitoring, kinesiologists receive, via the nervous system, the unique information offered by the body’s emotions and thoughts.
“Working with your muscles is like opening a filing system of your past experiences. Muscles store a range of emotional memories, some of which take us right back to the first time you had these experiences. Clearing this memory and the path for the healing process is what we do during a kinesiology ‘balance’,” says Ange.
“Kinesiology has the most amazing power to assist people to heal or to improve aspects of their lives.”
Ange incorporates elements of chinese acupressure, reiki, and flower essence therapy, among others. This process removes the blockages and improves the flow within the body’s energy system to achieve the healing the client seeks.
Earthway specialises in parenting and family issues, pregnancy and natural birthing, and developing healthy and loving relationships. However Ange works with clients to assist in all manner of physical and emotional issues including learning difficulties, giving up addictions such as smoking, and helping to overcome injury or illness.
Ange is looking forward to offering kinesiology to new clients, not only from Torquay but from right across the Surf Coast, as well as Geelong and Melbourne.
